Robot.com, a dynamic robotics startup, is hiring a Junior Engineer (Maintenance) to support mechanical and electronic systems across the US and Colombia. You will work with the Maintenance Lead to develop strategies, assist the CEO and managers, and help ensure high uptime for robotic fleets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, strong English, and hands-on skills in voltage/current measurement, DC analysis, and MOSFET/diode operation. Hybrid COL/US work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic or Biomedical Engineering.
• Fluent in English (B2/C1) and able to obtain US work authorization in Colombia.
• Proficient in measuring voltage and current with a multimeter.
• Knowledge of DC analysis of circuits and MOSFET/diode operation.

As a Maintenance Engineer Specialist Junior, a typical day might include the following:

• Provide remote technical assistance on mechanical and electronic issues.

This job might be the right one for you if:

• Have a Valid US VISA. Legally eligible to work in Colombia.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic, and Biomedical
• Engineering with Proficient English level (B2, C1) and Professional Card.
• Proficient in accurately measuring voltage and current using a multimeter.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in the DC analysis of schematic circuits.
• Knowledge of active and passive discrete components and their operation.
• Proficiency in the operation of MOSFET transistors and diodes.
• Experience in designing and implementing Buck and Boost converters.
• Expertise in DC and brushless motor control techniques.
• Ability to correlate PCB layouts with schematic circuits.
• Understanding of digital signal multiplexer operation.
• Ability to read and comprehend electronic component datasheets.

• Excellent communication skills: ability to convey ideas effectively, articulate plans clearly, and provide a general understanding of the problem at hand.
