EPAM Systems, Inc. in Colombia seeks a Lead UI Technical Artist to define tech art systems, materials, and motion language for a cross-platform game UI. You will build reusable templates, elevate UX/UI with polished real-time effects, and mentor UI artists.

You will design the UI tech art vision, plan cross-platform strategies balancing fidelity and performance, own UI tooling and asset management, and collaborate with UX/UI to translate intent into real-time implementations.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist or VFX Artist in game UI/front-end.
• Experience mentoring UI artists and visual designers.
• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and material systems.
• Advanced shader and material fundamentals, texture optimization.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsabilidades

• Define the UI tech art vision, templates, and principles for UI artists.
• Craft polished UI tech art solutions using materials, UMG, animation, FX, and camera tools in UE5.
• Plan cross-platform adaptation balancing fidelity and performance.
• Own tooling, pipelines, and asset management to improve throughput.
• Mentor and review work to raise quality and consistency.
