EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Technical Artist to bridge art and engineering across UE4/5, delivering refined, high-quality visuals for international projects. You will set forward-looking UI tech art frameworks, mentor designers, and help shape cinematic sequences and responsive UI behaviors.

You will collaborate with global teams, optimize materials, lighting, FX, and UI transitions, and ensure visuals meet performance targets while remaining visually compelling across platforms.

Formación

• Five-plus years of hands-on experience as a Technical Artist, UI Tech Artist, or VFX Artist.
• At least one year leading and overseeing teams.
• Strong Unreal Engine 5 experience, esp. Material Editor and Niagara for real-time effects.
• Experience with Sequencer to build cinematic sequences.
• Solid knowledge of real-time lighting and post-process.
• Experience crafting polished hover effects and motion nuances in UI.
• Strong technical art foundations: shaders, textures, optimization, and performance analysis.
• Excellent collaboration and English proficiency (B2 or higher).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver polished, optimized technical art outcomes using materials, UMG, animation, FX, lighting, Blueprints, and camera in UE4/5.
• Set tech art frameworks, vision, and core UI principles guiding the product.
• Establish cohesive visuals covering motion, FX, UI transitions, scale, and proportions.
• Assess how tech art scales across platforms, balancing visual quality and performance.
• Lead tooling systems and asset management for UI tech art across the team.
• Mentor visual designers and UI artists to develop their skills.
