EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead UI Artist to own the look and feel of the game UI from high-fidelity design to ship-quality Unreal Engine 5 implementation. You will bridge visual design and tech art to deliver accessible, localized UI across platforms, collaborating with design and engineering to raise UI quality.

The role requires 5+ years in UI art, leadership experience, and a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, UMG, and Figma is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional UI art experience, ideally in games.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Hands-on Unreal Engine 5 experience building and theming UI (UMG, Slate, Material Editor).
• Strong portfolio showing UI/UX design, texturing, and iconography.
• Proficient with Figma and UI style guide creation.
• Solid knowledge of texture optimization and real-time UI performance.

Responsabilidades

• Own the end-to-end UI visual direction for a consistent look and feel.
• Translate UX wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, design systems, and style guides.
• Implement final UI art in Unreal Editor using UMG, widget animations, and materials.
• Design menus, HUD elements, iconography, and UI motion to support gameplay clarity.
• Collaborate with game design and engineering to align visuals with UX constraints.

We are looking for a Lead UI Artist to own how the game UI looks and feels, from high-fidelity design through ship-quality implementation in Unreal Engine 5. You will bridge visual design and tech art to deliver performant, accessible, and localized-ready UI across platforms.
