EPAM Systems in Colombia seeks a Lead Platform Engineer to drive scalable automation across Developer Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and Cloud Automation. You will lead hands-on engineering, mentor teams, and shape secure, AI-assisted workflows for enterprise-scale projects.

Responsibilities include building reusable GitHub Actions, Terraform-based AWS infra, and CI/CD improvements while collaborating with product owners and Scrum Masters. English communication is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Proven technical leadership with mentoring and ownership (1+ year).
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Expertise in AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Linux.
• DevSecOps experience with security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode).
• Familiarity with PagerDuty incident response.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted software development.
• Ability to introduce AI into engineering workflows.
• Strong technical writing and documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions and automation.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Drive DevSecOps, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Establish AI development standards using Claude Code and Copilot.
• Mentor engineers through architecture guidance and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.
