EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team. You will design and build scalable platform automation, improve developer productivity, and contribute to AI-assisted engineering practices.

You will work with GitHub Actions, AWS infrastructure (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines while supporting DevSecOps, security tooling, and incident response. Excellent English communication is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Strong ownership skills and ability to drive tasks to completion independently.
• Solid proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Skills in GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Linux.
• Competency in DevSecOps, operating production services, and security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode).
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response.
• Daily hands-on experience with Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM fundamentals, and AI-assisted software development.
• Ability to apply AI in engineering workflows.
• Strong written documentation skills.
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Contribute to DevSecOps, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Apply AI development standards using Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Support fellow engineers through design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.
