Veho is hiring a Lead Logistics Coordinator in Bogotá, overnight hybrid shifts. You will organize the on‑shift logistics team, manage high‑level escalations, and identify gaps while documenting SOPs. The role partners with client management and operations to ensure accurate data and smooth process execution.

You will mentor teammates, roll out new workflows, and contribute to process innovation in a fast‑growing logistics company that values ownership and impact.

Formación

• 2+ years in a logistics or operations leadership role, owning escalations beyond day‑to‑day shipment execution.
• Strong decision maker under pressure with clear shift‑level accountability.
• Confident communication with brokers, carriers and clients.

Anticipated Schedule

Hybrid — Bogotá, Colombia. This is an overnight role, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM CST, Friday‑Monday. Schedule is aligned to business needs.

About The Role

The Lead Logistics Coordinator works alongside Sr Logistics Coordinators and Logistics Coordinators to keep the team organized on shift by checking in with team members, supporting escalations, and assisting in difficult escalations with broker partners and clients as needed. They elevate with urgency, root cause issues, and raise issues to Logistics Managers when needed. Leads also assist with training new hires and the roll out of new processes, re‑training on specific topics, and supporting reporting alongside Logistics Managers. They’re strong communicators who stay on top of high‑priority shipment tracking, articulate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, fill in the gaps for the team, and pivot between tasks as needed.

What You'll Do

• Organize and lead the logistics coordination team across shifts, ensuring adequate coverage across all regions.
• Support high‑level escalations and serve as the direct escalation point for all shift‑level operational issues.
• Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, and training needs across the team.
• Assist in building and maintaining team workflows, playbooks, and standard operating Procedures.
• Support the onboarding and development of Coordinators, and the roll out of new processes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including client account management and ground operations.
• Reconcile shipment data across systems and audit for discrepancies to keep TMS records accurate.
• Participate in AI building workshops and process innovation projects.

A great candidate

• 2+ years in a logistics or operations leadership role (Senior Logistics Coordinator or equivalent), with demonstrated ownership of escalations beyond day‑to‑day shipment execution.
• Makes sound operational decisions under pressure and is comfortable being the final word on shift‑level issues.
• Communicates confidently with external stakeholders: brokers, carriers, and clients.
• Has built or improved a process, workflow, or SOP, not just followed one.
• Is comfortable reading performance data (Sigma or similar tools) and turning it into specific, actionable feedback.
• Has experience mentoring or developing teammates, and is interested in supporting, training and onboarding new hires.
• Operates with ownership and urgency, and is ready to spend the majority of their time on team collaboration and network escalations, rather than individual shipment execution.

Compensation Range: $0
