EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to join our team and spearhead an overhaul of an insurance technology framework with enterprise AI platforms. You will design, implement, and scale AI solutions that reduce complexity in insurance workflows, collaborating with brokers, underwriters, and operations.

Strong leadership and production ML experience are essential. The role requires advanced Python/TypeScript skills, CI/CD and containerized environments, and excellent English communication.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering or AI/ML experience.
• Experience leading and overseeing development teams.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills; production experience with AI systems.
• Experience deploying ML models in production and working with CI/CD and containers.
• Excellent English communication (B2 level or higher).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, and launch enterprise-scale AI platforms to simplify insurance workflows.
• Lead end-to-end AI products from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and operations to design scalable solutions.
• Establish testing, monitoring, and governance to reduce hallucinations and ensure reliability.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in AI system design.
