EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead AI Engineer to architect and deliver a greenfield multi-agent AI platform powering proactive FinOps workflows in a multi-cloud environment.

You will lead agent orchestration, governance, security, and high-scale API services while mentoring engineers and aligning with stakeholders on scalability and integration constraints.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering with 1+ years in technical leadership for AI or platform systems.
• Strong project ownership to drive architecture from design through delivery.
• Advanced Python skills (Python 3.11+) for production-grade AI services.
• Strong FastAPI skills for secure, scalable service endpoints and integrations.
• Hands-on AI Solution Engineering delivering LLM-powered platforms and agentic systems.
• Strong Solution Architecture to define system boundaries and scaling patterns.
• GCP experience including workload identity, managed AI services, and production ops.
• Solid security/governance knowledge including Zero Trust, RBAC, and audit logging.
• English at least B2 for collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and delivery of a multi-agent AI platform with specialized agents.
• Design agent orchestration patterns including tool contracts and inter-agent dependencies.
• Implement LLM governance with centralized routing and cost tracking.
• Define guardrails with segregation-of-duties workflows and auditable approvals.
• Build secure action-routing services invoking APIs and event-driven workflows.
• Enforce Zero Trust security patterns across execution and data access.
• Set coding, testing, and API standards and drive adoption via reviews.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and provide hands-on direction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align interfaces, scalability goals, and constraints.
• Oversee observability, logging, monitoring and failure handling for autonomous services.
