Fortinet in Bogotá, Colombia seeks an experienced Network Security professional to collect, analyze, and recommend actions from configuration, network and packet-trace data. You will educate customers with webinars/workshops and support LATAM accounts via email and phone.

The role demands strong security, routing expertise and certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or CISSP) along with advanced English and willingness to travel.

Formación

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in the network industry.
• 4
• Strong network security and routing experience.
• Exceptional customer service orientation and strong communications skills.
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, and/or CISSP.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Scripting and Windows server app experience.
• Willing to travel.
• Advanced English level.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, analyze and propose changes to configuration information.
• Collect and analyze customer network information.
• Collect and analyze packet trace information.
• Recommend actions based on analysis.
• Educate customers; deliver knowledge transfer via webinars or workshops.
• Recommend software and conduct bug scrub reports.
• Perform upgrade testing in lab environment and provide upgrade reports.
• Develop best practice deployment and troubleshooting docs.
• Follow up on technical cases and manage expectations until closure.
• Lead weekly status calls with customers to report progress.
• Prepare quarterly reports for managed accounts.
• Provide direct technical email/phone support to LATAM customers.
• Analyze support requests and complete information/documentation requests.
• Exercise independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria.
