Align Technology, Inc. is seeking a Business Innovation Manager in Bogotá to own the Chile and Colombia innovation portfolio from problem definition through pilot and handover.

The role blends strategy and execution, requiring rigorous analysis, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level communication. You will lead in-market pilots, develop business cases with solid economics, and collaborate with country leadership to scale successful initiatives.

Formación

• 6 to 10 years of experience in operational or implementation consulting, business transformation, or similar project-driven environments with real delivery ownership.
• Demonstrated track record of taking projects from problem definition through implementation, not just recommendations.
• Structured problem solving: frame, size, and focus ambiguous situations.
• Hypothesis-driven mindset with clear test design and decision criteria.
• Outstanding stakeholder management across countries, functions and seniority levels.
• Ability to influence without authority and align through credibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; simplify complexity for senior audiences.
• Senior posture and executive presence, composed under pressure and constructive when needed.
• Results-driven with rigor, process discipline and quality.
• Strong attention to detail across numbers, assumptions, documentation and follow-through.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
• Based in Bogotá and able to work five days per week in the office.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Chile and Colombia innovation portfolio end to end, from problem definition through pilot to operational handover.
• Identify and frame business problems and opportunities in the two markets, translating them into testable hypotheses.
• Build strategic assessments and business cases with rigorous assumptions, clear economics and risk framing.
• Design, launch and run in-market pilots with scope, timeline, success metrics and measurement plan.
• Decide on evidence, and recommend scaling, pivoting, pausing or killing initiatives based on data.
• Bring the right stakeholders to the table at the right time.
• Prepare and present recommendations to country leadership teams and to the LATAM Business Innovation steering committee.
• Manage initiatives through governance, meeting gate criteria and deliverables at each stage.
• Lead the handover of successful pilots to business owners who will scale and run them.
• Contribute to strengthening our innovation operating system.
