Job summary

CI&T is seeking an experienced AI/Cloud Architect to design and scale Generative AI solutions across Latin America. You will work at the intersection of business strategy, AI engineering, software architecture, data and cloud, turning real challenges into secure, production-ready AI systems.

In this hands-on role, you will prototype concepts, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, and guide architectures from idea to production while ensuring responsible AI and governance across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/engineering/data science.
6+ years in software, cloud, or solution architecture.
Hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI development experience.
Solid knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents.
Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
API design, microservices and cloud-native apps.
Strong Python skills and prototyping ability.
Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end AI solutions including Generative AI apps and RAG.
Translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
Build prototypes and proofs of concept for feasibility and value.
Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists and data engineers for production.
Design agentic solutions with tool calling, memory, and orchestration.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise APIs, data platforms and cloud services.
Develop reusable AI components and architectural patterns.
Evaluate models and platforms for performance, security and cost.
Embed responsible AI, privacy and governance into designs.
Set up monitoring, observability and MLOps practices for production.
