Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Nimble Gravity. We are currently looking for an AI Data Scientist in Latin America. We are seeking a highly skilled AI Data Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and deploy advanced AI systems leveraging LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic architectures. You will work with multi-modal data to transform unstructured content into actionable insights, develop semantic search and retrieval pipelines, and fine-tune AI models for specialized domains. Collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, you will create production-ready AI systems that deliver measurable impact. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation, creativity, and expertise in GenAI are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy next-generation AI solutions using RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agent-based architectures
• Build intelligent systems for document summarization, knowledge retrieval, content generation, and transforming unstructured data into actionable insights
• Implement MCP and multi-agent frameworks for orchestrating complex reasoning, tool usage, and dynamic workflows across LLMs
• Fine-tune foundation models for specialized domains, ensuring scalability, reliability, and measurable business outcomes
• Develop and maintain embedding pipelines, semantic search capabilities, and optimization of similarity search in large-scale vector databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI solutions with analytical workflows and decision-making pipelines
• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance model performance focusing on accuracy, latency, and robustness
• Stay updated on GenAI advancements and rapidly prototype new methodologies, integrating state-of-the-art tools into production

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in data science, applied AI, or machine learning, including deploying solutions at production scale
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector search, and agentic orchestration frameworks (e.g., MCP, multi-agent systems)
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; hands-on experience with ML/AI frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, LangGraph, PyTorch, or similar
• Cloud-native expertise (Azure, AWS, Databricks) for scalable AI experimentation, orchestration, and deployment
• Solid foundation in data science methodologies including statistical modeling, experimentation, and data-driven problem-solving
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and optimization skills for complex data workflows
• Quick learner with a passion for staying ahead of developments in GenAI and agentic systems
