Auxis is seeking a System & Cloud Engineer Jr. to join the Mosaic Infrastructure Managed Services team. You will support a managed estate of servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud workloads across multiple sites in the Americas, under guidance from senior engineers.

As a hands‑on engineer, you will handle day‑to‑day server administration, incident resolution, backup operations, and monitoring. You will grow toward more advanced systems and cloud engineering responsibilities over time.

Formación

• Degree or technical diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2+ years of server administration, infrastructure operations, or advanced IT support.
• Windows Server administration knowledge; Linux exposure is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtualization concepts (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Backup/restore concepts and monitoring/alerting workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and methodical incident resolution.
• Good documentation habits and ticket hygiene.
• Fluent English, B2+ level, strong communication skills.
• Availability for scheduled maintenance windows and on‑call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve escalated server and infrastructure incidents from Service Desk and NOC.
• Perform routine server administration: accounts, disk management, service restarts, certificates, tasks.
• Support virtualization operations (VMware/Hyper‑V) including provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Execute and monitor backup jobs, remediate failures, support restores.
• Respond to monitoring alerts and perform first‑level diagnostics.
• Assist patching with NOC Sr., including pre/post checks.
• Assist with cloud tasks (Azure/AWS) under senior guidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and runbooks.
• Follow incident, request, and change management processes.
• Participate in maintenance windows and on‑call rotations.
• Grow technical depth through mentoring and training.
