Lean Solutions Group in Colombia is seeking a detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end ocean export shipments, from booking to documentation and billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance in CargoWise.

The role requires 6 months of ocean freight export experience, proficiency in CargoWise, and strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with carriers, agents, customers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 6 months of experience in Ocean Freight Export Operations or Freight Forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise (required).
• Knowledge of Ocean Export Operations and international freight forwarding processes.
• Experience with export documentation and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong understanding of booking instructions, carrier cut-off dates, shipment tracking, and export processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate end-to-end Ocean Export shipments from booking through final documentation and billing.
• Set up and maintain accurate shipment information within CargoWise.
• Review booking instructions and ensure all shipment requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with ocean carriers, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams throughout the export process.
• Monitor vessel schedules, shipment milestones, and critical cut-off dates.
• Prepare, review, and maintain export documentation and electronic documents.
• Ensure accurate shipment tracking and timely updates in logistics systems.
• Resolve documentation, booking, and operational discrepancies with relevant parties.
• Support export billing activities and ensure financial information is recorded.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to company procedures.
• Manage multiple shipments and priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Identify potential issues proactively and elevate them when necessary.
• Perform additional logistics and export-related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ocean Export Coordinator to join our Logistics team in Colombia. The ideal candidate will have experience in Ocean Freight Export Operations and Freight Forwarding, with strong knowledge of export documentation and shipment coordination. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of ocean export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, timely tracking, compliance with booking requirements, and proper billing within CargoWise.

Requirements

• 6 months of experience in Ocean Freight Export Operations or Freight Forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise (required).

• Strong understanding of booking instructions, carrier cut-off dates, shipment tracking, and export processes.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with logistics systems, spreadsheets, and word-processing applications.
