Kaizen Gaming, based in Bogotá, is seeking an In Play Trader. In this role, you will monitor real-time sports events, providing precise and competitive live odds while managing risks. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, strong analytical skills, and a passion for sports.

• Strong interest in and understanding of various sports and betting markets.
• Proven analytical and mathematical skills are essential.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with sportsbook operations preferred.

As an In Play Trader, you will:

• Monitor real‑time sports events and perform live trading.
• Supervise and adjust data to provide precise and competitive live odds.
• Provide accurate and rapid results for any event across a variety of sports.
• Use both external providers and in‑house odds to optimise and customise our offerings and performance.
• Evaluate events according to their potential demand, offering the widest and most competitive market coverage.
• Continuously monitor bet placements, assess live event risks, and take appropriate measures to manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure customers have access to the most up‑to‑date, competitive odds, enhancing the overall betting experience.
• Maintain effective communication within the trading team and with external stakeholders to ensure a unified and coordinated approach.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, finance).
• Strong interest in sports with a good understanding of various sports and betting markets.
• Proven analytical and mathematical skills.
• Experience playing on a sportsbook and understanding betting mechanics.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to make quick, well‑informed decisions and work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Multitasking abilities and PC literacy.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in line with the business and sports calendar requirements.
