AJC Group in Medellín, Colombia seeks a motivated Junior Credit Specialist to support credit and collections activities, assess customer credit exposure, and drive risk-based decision making. You will analyze financials, monitor AR, and collaborate with Commercial, Logistics, Treasury, and Finance teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong financial analysis, Excel/Power BI proficiency, and effective communication with internal and external partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Recent graduates or candidates with at least one year of credit/collections experience.
• Strong financial analysis skills: interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough credit risk assessments on customers, including financial statement analysis, cash flow evaluation, and market/industry risk review.
• Recommend credit limits and terms, ensuring alignment with company risk policies.
• Monitor and analyze accounts receivable exposure, identifying high-risk accounts and mitigation strategies.
• Drive proactive collections activities, including direct customer engagement to resolve overdue balances.
• Partner with Commercial, Logistics, Treasury, and Finance teams to align on customer risk strategies and resolve disputes.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and dashboards to support decision-making by management.
• Support compliance with company policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when needed.
