Auxis LLC is looking for a Network Engineer to administer and support client network environments, ensuring high availability and performance through best practices and thorough documentation.

You will troubleshoot network issues, implement hardware and software configurations, and maintain runbooks while coordinating with on-site resources and third-party teams to uphold uptime and security.

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1 troubleshooting for network OS issues, hardware performance, security vulnerabilities, and other basic systems management tasks.
• Resolve Incident Requests for assigned clients.
• Install and configure new hardware and software, collaborating with on-site resources when required.
• Devise processes, methodologies, and documentation to enhance customer support quality.
• Analyze logs, system performance, and apply OS updates and configuration changes.
• Maintain system configuration documentation and identify opportunities for automation.
• Provide recommendations for improving client operating environments.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and application teams for troubleshooting and change requests.
• Update runbooks

Job Summary

The Network Engineer is responsible for administering and supporting client network environments according to best practices, ensuring high network availability and performance. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure consistent network uptime, patching, and performance. This role involves troubleshooting network issues, implementing hardware and software configurations, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 troubleshooting for network operating system issues, hardware performance, security vulnerabilities, and other basic systems management tasks.
• Resolve Incident Requests for assigned clients.
• Install and configure new hardware and software, collaborating with the support of the on-site resources when required.
• Devise processes, methodologies, and documentation to enhance customer support quality.
• Analyze logs, system performance, and apply operating system updates and configuration changes.
• Maintain system configuration documentation and identify opportunities for automation.
• Provide recommendations for improving client operating environments.

Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft server operating systems and cloud network environments.
• Experience creating documentation, including standard operating procedures.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.

EDUCATION:

• Computer Science, Engineering, IT bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and client-server applications.
• Understanding of data communications networking technologies, architectures, platforms, and protocols.
• Knowledge of network security methods and required configurations for network devices.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
• Ability to administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES:

• Comptia Network +
• Cisco CCNA.
• Cloud technologies certifications.
• ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Linux Essentials.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
