Sutherland Global is hiring an Application Support Engineer in Bogotá, Colombia. In this hybrid role, you will troubleshoot customer issues related to Java, SQL, and various software configurations.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of technical support experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science, and excellent communication skills in English. Join a dynamic team and assist customers through multiple channels.

Formación

• At least 2 years in technical support facing customers and resolving issues.
• 2 years of experience with application development using Object-oriented Java, Windows Forms, SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Receive incidents and troubleshoot them related to errors, exceptions, logs, Java debugging and SQL querying.
• Review and investigate issues raised by client and provide accurate guidance based on current documentation.
• Collaborate and add value through participation in peer case reviews.

Conocimientos

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher)

Application development using Object-oriented Java

Technical development/debugging and diagnosis skills

Knowledge with SQL

Fast learner

Integration experience with desktop enterprise software applications

Knowledge with Linux, Microsoft Server

Knowledge with XML, HTML, PERL

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
