Elaxtra Advisors, an investment bank and M&A advisory firm focused on the technology services sector, seeks a remote Investment Banking Intern based in Colombia to support live engagements.

You will help with buy-side and sell-side processes, industry research, target outreach, and creation of CIMs and teasers, working with cross-functional teams and management data.

Formación

• Must have a passion for finance and strong written English, with clear client communication.
• Experience or familiarity with M&A concepts and financial analysis is desirable.
• Comfort using AI tools to support research and productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare target analyses, CIMs, and outreach materials for buyers or sellers.

Elaxtra Advisors is an investment bank and M&A advisory firm focused exclusively on the technology services sector. We work with institutional investors, private equity-owned platforms, and strategic acquirers to execute transactions worldwide.

We're looking for a remote Investment Banking Intern based in Colombia to support our deal team on live M&A engagements.

What you’ll do

• Support both buy-side and sell-side M&A processes for US, European, and Latin American clients, including PE-backed and privately held firms
• Conduct detailed industry research and company profiling with a focus on technology, services, and technology-enabled sectors
• Conduct outreach to potential targets for buy-side deals and prepare analysis of targets, and outreach to potential acquirers for sell-side mandates
• Develop client-facing materials, including teasers, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and financial analyses, analyzing financial and qualitative data directly from management to evaluate opportunities through the lens of a buyer or seller

What we’re looking for

• Must have a passion for finance
• Must have excellent written English and strong communication skills, comfortable engaging directly with clients
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to support research and productivity
• Sharp analytical mindset with ease working through financial data
• Meticulous and highly organized, with a sharp eye for detail
• Strong time-management and self-discipline, with the ability to work independently while staying closely coordinated with cross-functional teams remotely
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field
• Genuine interest in investment banking, technology services, M&A, and corporate finance

• Remote, based in Colombia
• Full-time, paid internship for 6 months, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time Analyst role upon successful completion
