WSP COLOMBIA SAS is seeking a Senior BIM Designer in Bogotá to lead 2D/3D drafting and model creation using Civil 3D and MicroStation for municipal projects. You will prepare plan and profile drawings, coordinate with designers and Project Managers, and mentor junior staff while ensuring CAD standards across multiple municipalities.

Fluent English communication is required; you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to ongoing design improvements in a dynamic, safety-focused

Formación

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years using Civil 3D and MicroStation for utilities.
• Knowledge of municipal engineering concepts.
• Experience with Dynamo and OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Participate in projects involving 2D/3D drafting civil engineering drawings and model creation using Civil 3d and Microstation
• Preparation of plan and profile drawings, sections and standard details
• Coordination with designers and Project Managers
• Interpreting design markups and asbuilts
• Producing 3d models of wet and dry utilities using pressure and gravity networks
• Following design guidelines and CAD standards for multiple municipalities.
• Mentoring junior staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering related field
• 10+ years in using Civil 3d and Microstation including InRoads designing watermains, sewers, dry utilities
• Expert knowledge of municipal engineering concepts;
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Autodesk Forma and Bluebeam Studio
• General knowledge of Navisworks and Revit, GIS and ISO 19650 standards
• Experience with a variety of CAD standards with an ability to multitask
• Previous experience with Dynamo and Open Roads Designer an asset
• Well organized with leadership skills;
• Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills;
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills;
• Self motivated and willingness to learn new things;
