• 3+ years of experience designing and building eLearning or online training content.
• Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise strongly preferred).
• Experience building and deploying courses within Canvas.
• Strong understanding of instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, backward design).
• Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.

Insight Global is seeking an Instructional Designer (eLearning Course Development) to support a large-scale digital learning initiative for a higher education client. This individual will partner closely with Subject Matter Experts and a US-based Project Manager to rapidly convert existing content into high-quality, engaging online courses. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume production environment, brings strong instructional design fundamentals, and has hands-on experience with modern eLearning tools like Articulate Rise. This is a fully remote, Colombia-based contract role offering the opportunity to contribute to a highly visible and impactful learning program.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience designing and building eLearning or online training content
• Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise strongly preferred)
• Experience building and deploying courses within Canvas
• Proven ability to transform SME-provided content (e.g., Word docs) into engaging, structured courses
• Strong understanding of instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, backward design)
• Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholder
• Strong project management and organizational skills in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Portfolio of eLearning work (Articulate Rise examples preferred
• Experience designing courses for higher education, MBA programs, or corporate learning
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Experience supporting large-scale or high-volume course development initiatives
• Experience using collaboration/project tools (Asana, Slack, or similar)
• Familiarity with advanced authoring tool customizations or plugins (Rise enhancements)
