Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Squad Leader to guide a skilled infrastructure engineering team responsible for critical client operations and high-availability platforms. You will act as the technical leader, provide hands-on support, oversee shifts, ensure SLA compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep day-to-day operations smooth.

We value leadership, deep Linux and Kubernetes expertise, and a commitment to agile delivery.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience leading technical teams in IT services, technology consulting or managed services.
Strong hands-on background in Linux administration, Kubernetes and containerization, and middleware operations.
Proven experience directing engineering groups, managing shifts, and ensuring client SLA compliance.
Spanish proficiency required; English is not required.

Responsibilities

Squad Leadership & Technical Guidance: Direct, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers with hands-on support.
Operational & SLA Management: Oversee client shifts, service layers, and SLA compliance for high availability.
Incident Escalation & Operational Continuity: Primary escalation point for complex issues and platform stability.
Agile Delivery & Process Optimization: Run ceremonies, manage backlogs, and improve delivery workflows.
Domain Ownership: End-to-end ownership of tech stack and service layer translating business needs into operations.
