Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Bogota to design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications. You will contribute to web UIs in Angular or React with TypeScript/JavaScript and backend services in Java or C++, while ensuring code quality with unit and integration tests.

You will work in a global, Agile environment, leveraging Oracle RDBMS and RESTful APIs, and you will participate in release planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience developing enterprise-grade software.
• Experience with Angular or React, TypeScript/JavaScript; SPA architecture; monorepo tooling.
• Object-oriented design and development in Java or C++, with concurrency and performance fundamentals.
• Python for test automation (unit and regression testing).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications.
• Write clean, well-tested code in Java/C++/TypeScript.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate services using JSON.
• Collaborate with QA, Product Owners, architects in an international Agile environment.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity and developer experience.
