Job summary

1083 Amadeus IT Group Colombia, S.A.S. is seeking a Software Development Engineer - AMS to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications.

You will build web UIs with Angular or React (TypeScript/JavaScript) and backend services in Java or C++, write tests in Python, and work with Oracle SQL and RESTful APIs in an international Agile setting. The role emphasizes code quality, scalable design, and collaboration across engineers, QA, POs, and architects while exploring AI-assisted tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience developing enterprise-grade software.
• Experience with Angular or React, TypeScript/JavaScript, SPA architecture, monorepo tooling and UI testing.
• OO design and development in Java or C++, with concurrency and performance fundamentals.
• Python: test automation (unit and regression testing with PyTest).
• Oracle RDBMS with SQL; PL/SQL is a plus.
• RESTful APIs, integration and EDIFACT messaging.
• Automated testing and secure, reliable coding for high-availability systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications translating requirements into software.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests and ensure code quality.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate services using JSON.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an international Agile environment and participate in code reviews.
• Prepare releases and support production; explore AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity.
