Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Bogota to design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications. You will contribute to web UIs in Angular or React with TypeScript/JavaScript and backend services in Java or C++, while ensuring code quality with unit and integration tests.

You will work in a global, Agile environment, leveraging Oracle RDBMS and RESTful APIs, and you will participate in release planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience developing enterprise-grade software.
• Experience with Angular or React, TypeScript/JavaScript; SPA architecture; monorepo tooling.
• Object-oriented design and development in Java or C++, with concurrency and performance fundamentals.
• Python for test automation (unit and regression testing).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating services.

Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, ideally using Java and Angular, while troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring quality and maintainability. Collaborate with developers, QA, Product Owners, architects, and other stakeholders in an international Agile environment, contributing to code reviews, solution design, and technical discussions.
