Job summary

Nuvei in Colombia seeks a Technical Configuration Specialist to manage merchant production accounts in our payment gateway environment. You will configure payment methods, currencies, and bank connections while ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth onboarding.

You will work with Operations, Product, Development, and Risk teams to troubleshoot issues, validate configurations, and optimize transaction processing. Strong API, SQL, Excel, and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payment processing, e-commerce, or merchant acquiring environments.
• Ability to configure and validate merchant accounts and payment gateway settings.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot merchant production accounts and payment gateway settings.
• Set up merchant profiles according to business, banking, and regulatory requirements.
• Configure payment methods, acquiring banks, currencies, MCC codes, terminals, and APMs.
• Manage profile updates, sub-accounts, and account closures.
• Validate configurations prior to production deployment.
• Investigate and resolve configuration issues and transaction incidents.
• Analyze API requests/responses to ensure accuracy and successful processing.
• Support onboarding projects and production changes for new and existing merchants.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Development, Integration, Risk and Support teams.
• Maintain documentation and procedures related to merchant configurations.
