Job summary

Nuvei, the global payments company, is seeking a Treasury Specialist for a 6-month contract in Bogotá. You will support daily cash management, review and approve payment batches, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

The role requires collaboration with AP, banking, and regional teams to manage wires, ACH/EFT, and cross-border transfers across multi-currency environments. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with Portuguese considered an asset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in treasury operations, AP, or payment processing.
• Strong understanding of banking platforms and treasury controls.
• Experience with multi-currency and cross-border payments (NA/LATAM preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run daily cash positioning across Nuvei's operating bank accounts.
• Review, validate, and approve wires, ACH/EFT, and cross-border transfers.
• Ensure disbursements follow internal controls and authorization matrices.
• Monitor payment workflows and escalate exceptions as needed.
• Support treasury controls, including SOX where applicable.
• Collaborate with AP and regional finance to ensure timely payments.
• Contribute to process improvements in payments and controls.
• Assist in global banking portal and ERP-related activities.
