The Qualifications We Seek
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least 1 year of HR experience
- 3 to 5 years of Human Resources (HR) experience if a bachelor's degree has not been completed
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal HR laws and regulations
- Commitment to continuous development of HR knowledge and expertise
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in learning and managing complex web-based systems
- Collaborative mindset with strong customer service skills
- High attention to detail with a resourceful, problem-solving approach
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferred
- Experience with Prism or a similar HRIS
- Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication, active listening, understanding of different perspectives, and thoughtful solution development

- Problem Solving: Proactive issue identification, effective solution development, timely resolution, and appropriate escalation when necessary

Your Daily Tasks
- Support clients and worksite employees with HR requests, including background checks, drug screens, job title creation, EEO-1 reporting, VETS-4212 reporting, verification of employment (VOE), E-Verify, direct deposit setup, HR invoices, and employee lifecycle updates.
- Support payroll, benefits, HR technology, workers' compensation, unemployment, and other HR functions based on client needs and business growth.
- Resolve basic to complex HR-related inquiries, research relevant information, document all actions in the case management system, and respond within established service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Complete assigned HR requests accurately and within established procedures, timeframes, and compliance standards.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices, and consult internal Compliance and HR teams when necessary.
- Communicate proactively with client support teams, provide timely updates, and coordinate client-related activities.
- Follow up with clients, complete outstanding requests, and confirm successful resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of and support human resource information systems (HRIS) and related technologies, including time and attendance, labor management, payroll, and onboarding systems.
- Compile, prepare, and maintain accurate HR reports, records, and documentation.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to clients on HR-related matters while maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve complex HR requests, manage escalations, and support project-based initiatives.
Other Duties
- Maintain current knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and employment law developments to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support the Unemployment team with wage audits, state separation notices, and other unemployment insurance (UI) requirements, as needed.
- Record all client-related activities accurately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and help maintain efficient operations.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional, respectful, and service-oriented manner.
- Contribute ideas to process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance the client experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
