Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Compliance Counsel for a remote-first, international role. You will guide compliance for digital products, marketing activities, and AI governance across EU and US markets, partnering with Product and Marketing teams to embed regulatory requirements into development.

Ideal candidates have a law degree and strong English/Russian skills (B2), with excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail to navigate consumer protection, advertising, and platform

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Knowledge of consumer protection legislation in the EU and US.
• Understanding of marketing and advertising compliance in the EU and US.
• Familiarity with EU and US digital legislation and AI governance.
• Knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Russian (minimum B2).
• Strong analytical and research capabilities; translate law into practical guidance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate risks.

Responsibilities

• Review product specifications for compliance across websites and mobile apps.
• Assess risks in product features, user journeys, monetization, and digital services.
• Participate in product compliance audits and incident response activities.
• Review advertising materials and campaigns for consumer protection and advertising standards.
• Advise Marketing on risks and ensure corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory developments in the EU and US; communicate updates to teams.
• Track sanctions-related regulatory developments and maintain internal policies.
• Contribute to compliance training and internal guidance.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to integrate compliance into development.
