Job summary

AgileEngine LLC. is seeking a Network Engineer to sustain and enhance secure, reliable enterprise connectivity across global operations from Medellín, Colombia.

The role requires hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper equipment, and strong TCP/IP, IPsec VPN and firewall skills. You will design and support LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure, collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and robust network segmentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise LAN/WAN design and support experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper equipment and software.
• Firewall, switching and wireless infrastructure in physical and virtual environments.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, IPsec VPNs, and network troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and coordinate with global teams; upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure VPN connectivity, IPsec tunnels and firewall policies.
• Diagnose connectivity and performance issues across devices and environments.
• Maintain segmentation, access controls and secure traffic flows with security teams.
• Monitor network health, investigate alerts and drive capacity improvements.
• Escalate incidents, document root causes and corrective actions with vendors.
• Plan changes and upgrades, including testing, rollback and post-change validation.
• Manage device lifecycle, firmware updates and documentation.
• Collaborate with systems and engineering teams on requirements and projects.
• Maintain network diagrams and troubleshooting procedures; mentor junior staff.
• Support global operations including remote sites and offices.
