Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure across global operations.

You will configure secure VPNs, troubleshoot connectivity, and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable networks. The role requires 6+ years of hands-on LAN/WAN experience, strong vendor credentials, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise LAN/WAN design and support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper network equipment.
• Strong experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting, routing and switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and NAT.
• Hands-on experience with IPsec VPNs, including tunnel establishment and authentication.
• Ability to diagnose network issues using packet captures and device logs.
• Experience in SOX-regulated environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure VPN connectivity, including IPsec tunnels, authentication, routing and firewall policies.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, latency, packet loss and availability issues across network devices.
• Maintain network segmentation and secure traffic flows in coordination with security and infra teams.
• Monitor network health and performance, investigate alerts and identify capacity improvements.
• Escalate and coordinate network incidents with vendors and internal teams; document root causes and fixes.
• Plan and execute network changes and upgrades with testing and rollback plans.
• Manage network device lifecycle, including firmware upgrades and documentation.
• Collaborate with systems, application and engineering teams on network requirements.
• Maintain network diagrams and configuration records; mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to enterprise network strategy for global operations including remote sites.
