Emapta Latam is hiring an Inventory Control Data Entry Specialist in Bogotá to support high-value freight documentation, order processing, and accurate inventory records. You will interact with customers and internal teams to ensure precise data entry and timely fulfillment.

The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to navigate shipping systems. A background in inventory control and data entry is essential for success in this position.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, data entry, order processing, logistics administration, customer service, or related field.
• Strong reading comprehension to interpret procedures and manuals.
• Strong written communication to prepare routine reports.
• Strong math skills including basic arithmetic.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory control and courier software, including shipping systems.
• Ability to assist IT teams with system issues.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to excellent experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the company mission.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with customers via email and telephone and record order information accurately in designated systems.
• Respond to customer emails and calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Understand customer requirements and gather information to fulfill requests accurately.
• Process orders accurately in HSS applications and, when required, customer databases.
• Generate required documents including packing slips, bills of lading, air waybills, and manifests.
• Review completed work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor deadlines and carrier requirements.
• Complete follow-up actions to fulfill customer requests.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve service and provide leads to sales.
• Process and analyze operational reports.
• Receive service failure complaints and coordinate investigations and resolutions.
