Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Chief Data Integration Engineer to lead advanced data ingestion and transformation initiatives across enterprise-scale platforms in Colombia. You will bridge hands-on technical excellence with strategic oversight, guiding data architecture decisions and collaborating with global teams.

You have 7+ years in data integration, strong ETL/ELT and data warehousing skills, and fluency in English. Expertise with AWS, Snowflake, dbt and Python is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Integration.
• At least 2 years guiding and managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows and data warehousing.
• Experience with AWS/Snowflake/dbt and modern data stack tools.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Fluent English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Examine current data ingestion and transformation pipelines to assess design and effectiveness.
• Review architecture documentation and source code, applying accelerators for efficiency.
• Deliver well-defined analyses and complexity evaluations to inform future direction.
• Collaborate with the discovery team on shaping solution design and estimating effort for the target state build-out.
