Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Global Senior Accountant Controllership for teleworking from Colombia.

This is a key, globally oriented role within the Tools & Outdoor group, collaborating with Corporate Accounting and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate fixed assets accounting and GAAP compliance. Applicants should have a BS in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years in accounting or controllership, and proficiency with MS Excel and data analytics tools.

Formación

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; CPA a plus.
• English proficiency; if not native, C1-C2 preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, controllership or related roles.
• Experience in a U.S. multi-national public company; working knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with T&O business and Corporate Accounting on accounting matters.
• Oversee global accounting for Fixed Assets and Global Supply Chain Processes.
• Provide leadership to controllership teams in Global T&O on behalf of BU Controller.
• Enforce fixed asset policies and train controllers, engineers, and analysts.
• Ensure GAAP compliance for Fixed Assets and software capitalization.
• Prepare CIP aging analytics and monthly Fixed Asset reporting.
• Coordinate Fixed Asset inventories and cycle counts.
• Analyze CIP balances and reduce aging.
