Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade reality inside customer environments. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions directly within the client’s setup, often in collaboration with strategic accounts and sales teams.

This role demands high autonomy, hands-on engineering, and a founder’s mindset to resolve integration, data readiness, and state-management challenges on enterprise AI projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience taking AI solutions from conception to launch on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured/unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience writing code for ML, NLP, and generative AI agents.
• Fluency in Spanish and English to support regional client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications and move prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Build the connective tissue between Google AI products and customer infrastructure (APIs, data silos, security).
• Create high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repetitive field patterns and convert into reusable modules or feature requests for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with technical sales to apply Google-grade development practices and drive adoption.
