AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead in Colombia to guide a development squad, mentor junior engineers, and stay hands-on building Java backend services with Spring Boot and the Angular frontend.

The role requires 6+ years in Java/Spring Boot and Angular, hands-on Kafka, and strong domain-driven design with bounded contexts; English must be upper-intermediate. Flexibility includes remote and office options within a hybrid setup.

Formación

• Proven Tech Lead or Squad Lead with mentoring experience.
• 6+ years with Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Hands-on Kafka experience and domain-driven design (bounded contexts).
• Strong RESTful API design with standard protocols.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle and JPA/Hibernate.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Squad Lead, driving delivery with high engineering standards.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain Angular frontend integration with backend services.
• Lead architectural transitions toward domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with clear, scalable patterns.
• Mentor juniors and promote agile practices within the team.
• Push back when necessary to maintain architectural integrity.
