AgileEngine in Barranquilla, Colombia, seeks a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend.

You will mentor engineers, drive domain-driven design and RESTful APIs, and ensure scalable, high-quality server-side architecture.

The role offers flexible hours, remote/office options, and USD-based compensation for a senior tech leader.

Formación

• Leadership experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead.
• Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with 6+ years experience.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns, and architectural awareness.
• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design and bounded contexts.
• Extensive experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the squad and drive engineering standards.
• Design and implement backend services with Java/Spring Boot.
• Maintain and integrate the Angular frontend with backend logic.
• Modernize architecture towards domain-driven design with bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
• Mentor engineers and promote agile practices within the team.
• Push back when needed to uphold architectural integrity.
