Emapta Colombia is seeking a Freight Coordinator to connect carriers with loads, negotiate favorable rates, and ensure on-time delivery across global shipments. This role offers remote work, a five-day week, and exposure to international clients.

You'll build carrier relationships, manage load data in the TMS, track shipments, and help maintain service levels while advancing your career through Emapta Academy.

Competenze

• 1 to 3 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain; entry-level candidates with strong aptitude may also be considered.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms, preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with load boards such as DAT or Truckstop is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and carrier qualification standards, preferred.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Mansioni

• Source, negotiate with, and book qualified carriers for shipper loads across FTL, LTL, intermodal, and other freight modes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and shippers to support repeat business and service excellence.
• Track and trace shipments from pickup through delivery and proactively communicate updates to all parties.
• Resolve in-transit issues, including delays, breakdowns, and delivery exceptions, promptly.
• Enter and maintain accurate load data in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Negotiate competitive freight rates while protecting company margins.
• Ensure carrier compliance with DOT regulations, insurance requirements, and company standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support customer onboarding and retention.
• Generate and review shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), rate confirmations, and Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
• Meet or exceed individual KPIs, including load count, gross margin, and on-time delivery rates.

The Qualifications We Seek
