Sezzle is seeking a talented Fraud Operations intern to join its fast-paced fintech team in Colombia. You will monitor transactions in real-time, flag potential fraud, and support analysts with data-driven investigations.

Formación

• Experience in analyzing data and making impactful decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong business judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent LLM tools.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor real-time transactions flagged for fraud and abuse for manual review.
• Investigate individual transactions using internal policies to determine if fraudulent.
• Understand our systems and tools; investigate account patterns through data analysis.
• Research fraud and user behavior to contribute to ML models and rules.
• Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists and engineering to improve prevention mechanisms.
• Learn and maintain strong knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.
• Maintain SLAs for timely resolution of queued cases to minimize losses.
• Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders professionally.
