Sezzle is seeking a Fraud Operations Intern to join our Shopper Risk Operations team in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will monitor transactions for fraud, investigate at the transaction level, and help evolve detection rules and machine learning models.

This role offers the opportunity to work with analysts, data scientists, and engineers while gaining hands-on experience in fraud prevention and risk management.

Formación

• Experience in analyzing data and making decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong business judgment and communication abilities.
• Ability to self-start with minimal supervision after training.
• Experience using Claude or similar LLM tools to boost productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor real-time transactions and user behavior flagged for fraud for manual review.
• Investigate transactions using internal policies to determine fraud risk.
• Analyze account patterns and data to understand fraud trends.
• Contribute to ML models, rules, and detection systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to improve fraud prevention.
