Jobtailor is seeking a Finance Controller in Bogotá to set up and manage ERP-based project accounting, ensuring accurate reporting of sales, costs, and balance sheet items across the project portfolio.

The role requires 3-5 years in financial controlling, strong IFRS and ERP skills, and fluency in English to collaborate with international stakeholders. You will support PM/PMO and auditors, driving accuracy and compliance in a Nokia-style environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Financial Controlling
• Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting, Planning, Reporting & Analysis, Controlling
• Familiarity with Finance Tools & Processes, Accounting & Reporting, Forecasting
• Fluent business English
• Knowledge of ERP, IFRS, Nokia policies and processes
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and independent work skills

Responsabilidades

• Set up and maintain projects in the ERP system.
• Support PM/PMO to understand accounting impacts in project actuals and forecast.
• Assess changes in accounting treatment of projects in execution phase for approvals.
• Ensure adherence to Revenue Recognition Board decisions.
• Ensure correctness of actual reporting of sales, cost and balance sheet items for projects.
• Monitor and control project balance sheets and perform netting exercises.
• Contribute to backlog verification for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with Nokia accounting principles, reporting guidelines, processes and controls.
• Provide information to internal and external auditors on project financials.
• Assist PM/PMO on project performance reviews with insights on accounting topics

• Responsible to set up and maintain projects in ERP system.
• Supports PM/PMO organization to understand the accounting impacts in the project actuals and forecast.
• Assess changes in accounting treatment of projects in execution phase and prepares material for approval.
• Ensures project adherence to Revenue Recognition Board decisions.
• Responsible for the correctness of the actual reporting of sales, cost and balance sheet items for the assigned projects.
• Responsible to monitor and control the Project balance sheet and perform Netting exercise.
• Contributes in order backlog verification for the assigned project(s).
• Ensures compliance with Nokia accounting principles, reporting guidelines, processes, tools and internal controls within the project.
• Provides information to Internal and external auditors on project financials.
• Supports PM/PMO organization on Project Performance review trough insights on actual figures and accounting topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Financial Controlling
• Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting, Planning, Reporting & Analysis, Controlling (Cash Flow, Receivables, Inventory Management, Revenue Recognition)
• Finance Tools & Processes, Accounting & Reporting, Planning and Forecasting
• Fluent command of business English
• Good skills in ERP, IFRS and RRB policy and in Nokia business and business drivers, corporate processes and tools
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work precisely and independently, checking his/her work before finalization/upload,; conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments and deadlines; critical Thinking and collaboration skills complete the ideal profile
