BairesDev is a fully remote company seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to shape technical direction for an expanding AWS-hosted platform. You will translate product goals into production-ready software and influence teams globally.

With 10+ years in backend development, you will own architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with end users, driving AI-assisted development across the delivery cycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Defined event-driven microservices architectures in production.
• Extensive AWS-hosted platform experience.
• Experience taking software to production and running it.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong English communication with end users.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical strategy.
• Collaborate directly with end users.
