Excis Compliance is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to manage hardware, software, and IT assets across multiple locations in Bogotá, Colombia. The role involves troubleshooting end-user devices, assisting with network connectivity issues, and supporting infrastructure and software installations. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, CompTIA A+ certification, and must be fluent in both Spanish and English. Responsabilidades

Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, scanner guns, and mobile devices/tablets.
Perform SOP based software installations, support and updates (includes MS Windows 10/11, M365 suite, Teams).
Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner as per SLA.
Provide basic training to end-users on hardware and software usage.
Collaborate with TechM and Customer remote IT teams to resolve complex issues.

What You’ll Do:

End-user Device Support:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, scanner guns, hands and feet audio visual for meeting rooms and mobile devices/tablets.

• Perform SOP based software installations, support and updates (includes MS Windows 10/11, M365 suite, Teams).

• Assist with infrastructure and network connectivity issues as per instructions from the Customer or TechM remote IT teams.

• Provide basic training to end-users on hardware and software usage.

• Provide support where physical intervention is required for install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.

• Assist with physical rack and stack operations.

• Assist in performing physical audits and asset tagging.

General Duties:

• Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner as per SLA.

• Perform installations, moves, adds, changes, and decommissions (IMACD) of IT equipment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all work performed.

• Confidence and presence to deal with Senior Exec/Management (VIP level support).

• Collaborate with TechM and Customer remote IT teams to resolve complex issues.

• Adhere to safety protocols and security procedures as per the Customer provided SOP and guidelines.

• Comfortable working at heights (up to 2m – where specific certification is required for working at heights, TechM will provide the Supplier with reasonable prior notice of such requirement and the Supplier will charge the costs of such certifications back to TechM) and in confined spaces.

What you need:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better.
Minimum of 18 months’ years of IT experience.
Mobile device management, including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory.
Proven ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet SLA’s.
Adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing industry and work environment.
Willing to work off-hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support.
Language & Communication: Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
