BPO2B in Colombia is seeking a Data Specialist to apply data tools to collect, cleanse, and present structured and unstructured data for analysis and reporting.

The role supports data project management across the organization, performing quality checks and liaising with internal teams to ensure complete project information before fieldwork.

Formación

• University degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates welcomed).
• Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, Countif, Conditional formatting, etc.).
• Experience handling large datasets (e.g., 10,000 rows and 100 columns).
• Experience with SPSS, SAS, or related statistical analysis software.
• Crosstabulation software experience (e.g. Wincross).
• Ability to collect, analyze, manipulate, and visualize data; strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quality checks at various stages of the research to ensure accuracy; including logic checks of surveys.
• Liaise with internal teams to obtain project information before fieldwork.
• Log sample information and generate sample inventory reports in the database.
• Verify incoming samples comply with in-house methodology and SOPs.
• Monitor and review data quality to ensure samples and quotas meet the plan.
• Support development and review of client final data files and requested reports.

Data Specialist

The Data Specialist is responsible for applying data tools to collect, cleanse, present structured and unstructured data for analysis and reporting. The person will assist in data project management with various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform quality checks at various stages of the research to ensure accuracy, and to avoid errors or mistakes; Including: checking programmed surveys for logic and precision
• Regularly liaise with internal team to ensure all relevant project information is fully obtained before the project goes into field;
• Log sample information and accurately generate sample inventory reports into database;
• Verify all incoming samples comply with in-house methodology and SOPs
• Monitoring and reviewing the quality of data collected to ensure samples and quotas meet the project plan
• Supporting in developing and reviewing of client final data file deliverables, and all other reports requested by the Operations team

Required Skills:

• University degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates welcomed)
• Advanced EXCEL skills and experience (Vlookup, Countif, Conditional formatting and etc)
• Experience in handling over large datasets (e.g. over 10,000 row and 100 columns)
• SPSS, SAS, or related statistical analysis software experience
• Crosstabulation software experience (e.g. Wincross)
• Ability to collect, analyze, manipulate, use data visualization techniques
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and organization skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others for the purpose of data exchange, clarification and follow up
• Proficient with MS Office Suite of applications along with ability to quickly learn new software applications and information systems
