YipitData’s Corporate team is expanding the Data group and welcoming a Data Associate to help deliver high-impact, data-driven products to clients. You will become the primary owner of data outputs, ensuring accuracy and client value across projects.

You will design robust QA workflows, investigate data quality issues, and collaborate with Insights and Engineering to build scalable solutions while mentoring peers and expanding automation.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages.
• Experience using sample or panel data to guide decisions.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and communicate clearly.
• Ownership mentality and ability to manage multiple projects.

About The Role

YipitData’s Corporate team works directly with leading organizations such as Summer Fridays, FanDuel, Uber, and Harbor Freight to help them make sense of the vast and complex universe of external data. We source, clean, organize, and contextualize data to enable our clients to answer their most important business questions with confidence.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding the Data team within our Corporate practice and are excited to welcome a Data Associate to help deliver high-impact, data-driven products to our clients.

As a Data Associate, you will:

• Ramp up quickly to become the primary owner of high-impact data products, driving product success by delivering best-in-class outputs with a focus on accuracy, client value, and efficiency
• Design, maintain, and run comprehensive QA processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability across assigned sector products & client deliverables
• Independently investigate and resolve complex data quality issue
• Serve as a trusted resource for internal and external stakeholders by understanding client needs and aligning them with our data methodologies, limitations, and coverage
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Insights and Engineering to align on best practices to deliver customer value, and develop technical solutions that streamline workflows, optimize data processes, and expand automation
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, robustness, and data quality within your team’s workflows, and mentor peers accordingly

You Are Likely To Succeed If

• You have 4+years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting
• You have 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large, complex datasets;
• You have experience using sample or panel data to make precise estimates that guide decision-making
• You have a proven track record of quickly learning new concepts, particularly complex data methodologies
• You can clearly communicate complex concepts, both orally and in writing
• You have a strong ownership mentality and are enthusiastic about making a big impact at a rapidly growing company
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently prioritize tasks and make strategic decisions based on client needs
• You enjoy mentoring peers and raising the quality bar through shared standards and best practices
• You have Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher)
• Preferred: Experience supporting market intelligence or data analytics with brand manufacturers and/or retailers with a strong understanding of their business needs
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Databricks

This role may be performed fully remotely. Candidates must have primary residency (and be physically located) in the country of hire (AKA Brazil/Colombia) in order to be considered for the position.
