Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Mid-level Data Engineer to build and maintain dbt pipelines and Snowflake data marts behind customer-facing reporting, spend analytics, and AI features. 3+ years in data/analytics engineering and strong SQL/Python are required.

The role includes building FastAPI services, managing data quality and security, and collaborating with product and engineering teams across regions. Fluent English preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering on production pipelines.
• Solid dbt experience: modeling, tests, macros, incremental models.
• Strong SQL and Python development with production data.
• Data modeling fundamentals: dimensional modeling and data marts.
• Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience with ingestion/orchestration tools (Airbyte, Prefect or equivalents).
• Awareness of guardrails for data tooling and AI/agent interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt pipelines, data marts, and warehouse models for reporting and analytics.
• Translate complex procurement logic into reliable, tested pipeline code.
• Develop models within the data mart architecture following grain and conformance rules.
• Contribute to a semantic layer for consistent metrics and dimensions.
• Maintain data boundary for PII and sensitive data in production.
• Create FastAPI services exposing reporting marts to customers.
• Build ingestion pipelines (Airbyte, OneSchema, S3) into the warehouse.
