Generation Colombia is seeking a C&I associate to support instructors and learners as we launch new programs. This role focuses on coordinating learning operations, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality experiences across Colombia.

You will collaborate with instructors, mentors, and the program team to monitor progress, manage data, and support educator development while traveling within Colombia as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in any field with a solid academic record.
• 1-3 years leading education programs; teaching online experience is a plus.
• Fluent Spanish; advanced written and spoken English.

About Generation:

At Generation, we believe in the power of employment to change lives. We are a global nonprofit organization that supports adults to achieve economic mobility through employment. Generation trains and places adult learners of all ages into careers that are otherwise inaccessible, working in partnership with governments, employers, and other system actors. We also conduct original research and share data insights on high-priority global workforce transition topics to inform decision-making by workforce system stakeholders. Launched in 2015, Generation comprises a global hub (Generation You Employed, or GYE) and a network of in-country affiliates. When learners join Generation, 91% are unemployed, of which nearly half are long-term unemployed. Three months after completing our program, graduates have an 78% job placement rate, rising to 88% within six months. Of our employed graduates, 79% are hired by repeat employers who have previously hired Generation graduates, and 89% are in jobs directly related to the profession for which we have trained them. Employed graduates immediately earn an average of 3-4X their previous earnings. Two to five years after graduation, 77% of our alumni from upper-middle income countries continue to meet their daily financial needs and 63% can save for the future. To date, Generation's global graduates have earned more than $1.9 billion in wages. Generation graduates typically have a secondary school background, 52% are female, 28% have dependents, and the majority identify with underrepresented communities in their country.

About the role:

• Job duration: This is a 12 months fixed-term contract


• Location requirements: Remote (with reliable WiFi), based in Colombia. Availability to travel within Colombia and attend in-person events


• Start date: August 2026

What will you do:

The C&I associate would support our instructors and learners to success as we launch and scale several new programs in Colombia. Generation C&I associates are instrumental to the successful delivery of our programs as they help to get the readiness of the programs, support selection of instructional teams, support the onboarding and upskilling of instructors and mentors to execute their sessions effectively. The C&I associate is someone who is passionate about program coordinatiion, and also learner centred and supporting a community of instructors who develop professionally.

Main Responsibilities:

1) Learning & Teaching Operations

• Support the Culture of Learning and Teaching vision, reflecting it in all stakeholder interactions, priorities and processes


• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of programs, serve as the point of escalation for learner issues on-programme (e.g., attendance, punctuality, engagement, assessment/learning outcomes, professionalism), and work with instructors and mentors to problem-solve learner issues, escalating them as needed


• Plan and design all Daily Schedules of programs in Colombia


• Monitor classes attending to the "Te Escuchamos" sessions for in-house and TSP delivered programs


• Manage a portfolio of cohorts, liaising with instructors, mentors, learners, and other team members, to ensure we meet our targets for course completion, learning outcomes and job readiness


• Be the CCC (Canvas Country Contact) for Colombia, assuring maintenance and quality of our LMS (Learning Management System) with content updated and Assessment Frameworks
  

2) Knowledge & Data Management

• In collaboration with the Program Coordinator, set up systems to collect and analyse program data to ensure instructors and learners are being supported in a timely manner


• Participate in program reflection conversations to ensure long term improvement of program outcomes


• Review each cohort’s data regularly, communicate progress to relevant stakeholders and design for intervention/support accordingly


• Partner with the program team to ensure the learner management system is updated and is being used as per the standard operating procedures, including data being inputted as per agreed upon cadence


• Document and share instructional best practices with country and global teams

3) Instructor Onboarding, Support & Professional Development

• Onboard and upskill instructors to build capacity and capability to deliver online Generation curriculum


• Support the C&I Coordinator with a professional development journey for instructors to help them improve delivery of the Generation methodology and instructional practice.


• Support the collection and evaluate data before, during, and after instructor onboarding and trainings to identify lessons learned and any additional support needs for instructors


• Build meaningful relationships with instructors and facilitate communities of practice and regular reflection spaces for instructors to promote continuous learning

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in any field with a solid academic record


• 1-3 years of work experience leading and managing education related programs, desirable if has some teaching experience in online environments


• Fluent Spanish, advanced written and spoken English


• Experience managing relationships and communicating with diverse stakeholders, such as training delivery partners, donors, or employers


• Interest or experience in providing coaching or professional development to adults and/or instructors to meet targeted goals for performance


• Experience in using a Learner Management System (LMS) or equivalent and analysing the data to draw conclusions and plan strategically.


• Professional demeanour, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills


• Strong communication skills, feedback oriented and showing a coach-growth mindset. (Intermediate English level)


• High degree of independence with the ability to also be a team player


• Entrepreneurial, creative, solutions oriented and proactive mindset required. Experience in a start-up environment is preferred


• Ideal candidates will have experience working with educational institutions, and/or have knowledge of current trends in adult learning and the players in the skills training landscape in Colombia


• The candidate should be open to travelling to Generation sites as per the needs of the program
