Job summary

Cobre is seeking a CBMM Payments Operations Specialist in Bogotá, Colombia. In this client-facing role, you will manage the execution of cross-border payment flows, overseeing every aspect from onboarding beneficiary counterparties to confirming settlements. You must have 2-4 years of experience in payments operations, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and familiarity with SWIFT messaging. The position requires attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple payment tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in cross-border payments operations or correspondent banking.
• Hands-on experience executing wire transfers through banking or PSP portals.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, IBAN structures, and international payment formatting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of manual payment corridors.
• Provide real-time FX quotes and manage client communication.
• Execute cross-border payments through partner banking portals.
• Monitor status of payments and respond to customer inquiries.
