Servpro Team Cox is seeking a Contents Moving and Care Technician to respond to property damage service calls and provide exceptional customer service while handling belongings with care.

You will assist with packing, moving, cleaning, staging, and safe transport, collaborate with Mitigation Restoration teams, and follow safety protocols to protect customers' homes and possessions.

Formación

• Experience in white-glove packing, moving, cleaning, or restoration.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Dependable transportation.
• Effective verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed cleaning, movement, and care for belongings after property losses.
• Communicate with Mitigation Restoration teams and keep them informed.
• Identify safety hazards and follow control measures to protect occupants and workers.
• Set up staging areas and equipment for each project in a clean, safe, organized way.
• Maintain an orderly work area to reassure customers about care for their homes and belongings.
• Maintain storage warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Protect and use equipment and materials properly.

Job Description

Respond to property damage service calls while practicing excellent customer service skills. Support the inventorying, packing, safe removal, transportation, storage, and special damage cleaning of customer belongings and premises.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning services, movement, and care for the belongs of customer who have suffered property losses due to fire, water, mold, or biohazards.
• Ensure clear communications with Mitigation Restoration teams, following their direction and keeping them informed.
• Identify safety hazards and follow control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and other workers.
• Set up staging areas and equipment for each project ensuring a clean safe, and organized work environment.
• Maintain an orderly work area that keeps customers confident that we are providing the utmost care for their homes, businesses, and personal belongings.
• Maintain storage warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Protect and use equipment and materials properly.

Qualifications

• Must absolutely have a strong work ethic and a positive team attitude!
• We work hard, we have fun, we have each other’s backs, and we don’t tolerate slackers.
• Some experience in white-glove packing, moving, cleaning, or restoration.
• Experience in infectious cleaning helpful.
• Dependable transportation.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to access and work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
